We did a variety of walks in the jungle; early morning, mid afternoon and even after dark with torches when we spotted a tarantula and bamboo rat.
Apart from our own lodge we visited the ExplorNapa Lodge with its nearby Canopy Walkway. The Walkway was developed to enable scientists to study the rainforest. It is the biggest one in the world, over 500 yrds long, connecting at least a dozen trees, with the highest point 120ft above the ground. Some of the animals we saw only live in the canopy, like the thorny tailed lizard. We also saw a pair of toucan but our overall enjoyment was hindered slightly by the mini (stingless) bees that kept landing on us, they don´t bite but are very irritating...
