Had to be done. We hired a drop-top Corvette to drive out to the Everglades for the day. 30mins the concierge said it would take to get there. Well he hadn't allowed for the Sat Nav in the car. Jan was sure it was taking us the wrong way yet each time she checked, the destination had been correctly input. An hour and a quarter later as we turned left onto a road she was certain we should have turned right onto, the Sat Nav lady proudly announced that we had "arrived at the way point". THE WHAT ?? What's a "way point"? A "out of our way point" more like. We were about to blame each other for messing up then realised it was probably a cunning plan by the hire car company to add 60 miles to our journey and thereby kick in the excess mileage charges. Well we got there in the end.
